Since my business is mostly all referral based, I tend to develop long term relationships with all my clients. Here are some of the questions that came up over time that I thought I would share with you.

"What´s my background?"

As I was raised on the North Shore of Kauai, I developed a passion for the water. I taught Scuba Diving for five years to hundreds of satisfied divers. At this time I also enlisted as a reservist in the Marine Corps. I then moved to California and attended Santa Monica College. At this time, I also began my career as a real estate professional. Upon earning a two year degree in business, I took a year to travel the world.

When I returned I moved to Portland. A benefit to my clients is that I can talk first hand about the benefits of moving to Portland and the positive impact it had on my quality of life.

"Why did I get into real estate?"

Two reasons. First, I saw it as a way where I could positively impact the lives of people. A home is a large part of a person’s life and is a very emotional purchase. What a better way to influence lives! Secondly, I wanted to keep my clients for life. I wanted to create and maintain a relationship with them where they would not only use me again, but refer me to everyone they know.

"What do I do in my free time?"

I am always looking for new challenges! I love to train in martial arts, mainly aikido and jujitsu. I enjoy spending the winters snowboarding, and the rest of the year playing chess, fishing, playing soccer, cooking, and traveling!

The relationship between a home buyer or seller and their agent is based on trust, shared goals and understanding. I strive to continually improve and to do this I listen and take the needs and wants into consideration.
